How do you want your financial future to look? Be specific...(income, lifestyle, etc..) Where do you expect to be financially in 10 years?

I want to be out of debt. I don't really care how much money I make. I would just not like to be in poverty.

I don't care how much I make. I just want to invest wisely, not be in debt, and be financially stable.

I want to make a lot of money and not be in debt. I want to put money in the bank. I also want to have a lot of spending money, but I will have to save it up first.

It depends. In reality, I want to have a steady job as a nurse practioner and completely out of debt. In my fantasy, however, I've written a couple successful novels and conveniently befriended a lonely billionare who died and left me all his money. In reality, my lifestyle would be simple and substantial, and, well, realistic. Sadly, it's looking like my fantasy will not come true any time soon. Speaking of which, I need to get back to Chemistry...

If I'm alive in ten years and if I decide to study medicine, I'll just have graduated from med school and be in my first year of residency. During my residency I'd make around 50,000 a year but after I'm all done I'd like to have a family and only work part time. Eventually I'd like to work full time and I'd make something like 100,000-200,000 depending on the kind of doctor I decide to be. I plan to be financially stable and the best support I can be for my family someday.

I would like to not be in debt at all. I don't really care how much I make as long as I am not living paycheck to paycheck.

I agree with Mckenna that I would want to be financially stable and be debt free and to not be completely stressed when dealing with money.

In 10 Years I will hopefully be on SRS's Fire Department and a radiological protective technician also for their plant. I'm almost finished with all of the schooling for it so "school" debt isn't a big concern for me at the moment. But in 10 years I plan to have have my car, truck, boat, and land payed for, and look at building my own house.

I agree with Ellie on the point that I don't want to live pay check, to pay check. but to be honest that would be a improvement, to the way my family has lived, we don't use credit cards and never will. but I think what I want the most is to have a house that I'm not paying off for the rest on my life, constantly facing the threat of being foreclosed, or not having money for clothes. I want a good job, for a good employer, whose not going to rip me off, I want to be able to say that if a huge hospital bill comes up ill be able to pay it, I want stability. And an income that I can actually live on. I know thats a lot to wish for, but I think with this class, I can pull it off.
